Parent teacher conferences will be held next week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Please look to your child's teacher for what time you should attend your conference.

Conference Times:

• Monday November 20th: 8:30-3:00
• Tuesday November 21st: 8:30-3:00
• Wednesday November 22nd: 8:30-11:00

The Budding imaginations Gallery in Gym hall way has 3 new pieces by Corinne MacArthur, Trevor Derstine, and Ada Donmoyer Munro.

• 5th grade has ceramic plates in the showcases and their classrooms.
• 4th grade has fraktur in the showcases and classrooms.
• 3rd grade has radial symmetry prints at the bottom of the ramp and landscape paintings with animals in the gym hallway and classrooms.
• 2nd grade has sunflower paintings: Rm.21 and 22 are by the artroom and Rm23 is by the Lego wall
• 1st grade has primary color paintings of rectangles in the style of Mondriam by the guidance office.
• Kindergarten has shape creations in gym hallway( k1 and K2) and fall paintings by the cafeteria entrance.

Fridays are for baking in our Autistic Support Class! Students learn how to follow a picture recipe, use different kitchen utensils, measure ingredients, and have fun doing it!

Students at each grade level had the chance to participate in Turkey Tag during Physical Education. Each student rode a scooter with a tail and flag. Students scooted their turkey around the gym floor trying to take the flag off another turkey's tail.

Our next Home & School Meeting will be Tuesday Jan. 9th at 6pm in the cafeteria. Please join us to meet other parents, learn about HSA events and volunteer opportunities, as well as bring any ideas, concerns, or questions to the Board. Childcare will be provided. We hope to see you there!

In preparation for your child's use of a 1-to-1 device in the 2023-2024 school year, please complete the Mobile Device Use Agreement and pay the device protection fee. Please see the details below.

Each year, the student/parent mobile device use agreement must be completed, and the device protection fee must be paid, via one of the methods below.

• Option 1 - Complete agreement and pay fee online.
  *Note: If you have never paid through Pay Online/RevTrak, you will need to create an account.
  
• Option 2 - Print agreement and make payment in-person: Complete and sign the Student/Parent Agreement (English | Spanish | Vietnamese). Please send the signed agreement and payment for the device fee to school with your child.

***Student ID's can be found in your Home Access Center Account***

Devices will be distributed to students during the first week of school.

The Salford Hills HSA invites you to volunteer at Salford Hills this year! The HSA helps coordinate volunteers for classroom activities, social events, school events, etc. As a volunteer, you are welcome to serve as much or as little as you wish. For example, help during a specific event, assist in organizing an event, lead a committee, help in your child's classroom, and more. There are so many ways to serve Salford Hills and we would love to connect you with opportunities that would be a good fit for you and your family.

In order to be contacted regarding these opportunities, you must join our volunteer list by filling out the form below. There is no commitment by joining our volunteer list. By signing up, you will simply join our list to be notified of events needing volunteers and other opportunities to get involved.
