2024 is Here!

Dear Parents,

We are excited to begin the new year! We hope students and families had a happy holiday season.

Our focus as we welcome students back from break is to re-establish procedures around learning, and create positivity around finishing the semester strong. We have 3 weeks until the end of first semester. As you have conversations with your student over the next few weeks, ask them to share their progress in their classes, and/or view their course progress in Skyward with them.

Additionally, the new year is certainly a great time to focus on new habits. One habit that we work with our students on is using the assignment notebook/planner. If your student needs one or has misplaced theirs, please suggest to them to go to the MS/HS office to pick up another one. Using a planner on a regular basis is a perfect starting place for a New Year's resolution to help with organization.

Skyward Student Management

Skyward Student Management allows parents to review Attendance, Grades, Student Information, Schedules, and Lunch Account transactions.

To access Skyward, parents need to get their username and password for the MS/HS office. Please contact Mrs. Brown (lbrown@necedahschools.org) at 608-565/2256 x100 or Mrs. Smelcer (lsmelcer@necedahschools.org) at x101 to get your username and password.

Skyward is linked on the School Website, and also HERE. Additionally, you can get access skyward by downloading the Skyward App on either iPhone or Android.

Over the next few weeks, we will be sending out How-To videos regarding Skyward to show shortcuts and answer questions regarding how to use Skyward without getting frustrated:)
