Students and families are expected to take care of their assigned devices by following NSD Chromebook Care Guidelines, keeping it charged and in its protective case when not in use. · Students are expected to follow the Responsible Use Procedures and appropriate digital citizenship while using an NSD device.

- DPP for the 2024-25 school year will be available for purchase in late August 2024 from your Touchbase account.
- Reminder: If a student does not purchase DPP coverage, a fine for damage is assessed. DPP does not cover loss of the device nor accessories.

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS AND BAKE WALK DONATIONS!
To ensure Carnival is a success, we need volunteers to pitch in!! This event cannot run efficiently for our children without your help. Please sign up for at least one 30-minute shift per student. We try and keep these shifts short, so it isn't taking time away from your kids. Encourage your friends to sign up as well, so we keep the game and attraction lines moving! If your classroom's spots are filled, please pick any available spot, at any attraction. If you want to work multiple shifts, we would love it! VOLUNTEER HERE
CARNIVAL BAKE WALK DONATIONS NEEDED! A FAVORITE at the Carnival! Please bring a store-bought, NUT-FREE baked good labeled "for Carnival" to the front office on June 6th and 7th. This game is a musical chairs-type where the winner each round gets to choose a treat that is hidden in a plain bakery box. We will take donations that are gluten-free, dairy-free, small items like one cupcake, or large items like a whole pie. Thank you!

NORTHSHORE SCHOOL DISTRICT PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR!
Northshore preschool programs are now enrolling children, ages 3-5. The preschool years are among the most critical in a child's life that influence learning. The Northshore School District is committed to providing the support that our youngest learners need to prepare them to succeed in school, cultivate friendships, and create a sense of community and belonging. The district proudly offers a variety of inclusive general education learning environments.
Available preschool programs include both FREE and tuition-based options.
FREE Programs: Head Start and Ready Start
Eligibility is determined by the child’s age, family income, and opportunity gaps. These programs are located at Sorenson Early Childhood Center, Woodmoor Elementary, and Kenmore Elementary. Spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis for eligible families. Families are encouraged to complete an application as soon as possible. The information on the application is confidential and used only to determine a child’s eligibility for the programs. The District does not require, check, or report on immigration or DSHS status. View the applications for income-eligible free preschool.
Tuition Programming
The Ready Start programs are located at Sorenson Early Childhood Center and Woodmoor Elementary. Spaces will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Families are encouraged to complete an application as soon as possible. View the application for tuition-based programs.
