Last Chance to Order AP Exams: Deadline Sunday, November 10th
Students taking Advanced Placement (AP) course this year who decide to take their course’s AP Exam have the chance to stand out to college admissions officers and save money on tuition with a qualifying score of three or more.
The Regular Payment window has closed (deadline Oct 31) but there is still time to order during the Late Payment window of Nov. 1- Nov 10. This is the last chance to order an AP Exam for courses that begin in Trimester 1.

Once you and your student have decided which exams they would like to take, add the desired test(s) to the cart and proceed to check out to pay for all the tests at once. Anoka County Holiday Supports
As the holiday season approaches, we understand that it can be a particularly stressful time for families facing financial hardships. To support our families during this season, we are committed to offering various community support options. As these resources become available, we will be sure to include them in our newsletter. If your family is in need of resources, please reach out to our school social worker, Robin Burge Ross. She can be reached by phone at 763-506-8584 or by email at robin.burgeross@ahschools.us.
- Constance Free Church is offering a Thanksgiving Meal Basket to Andover families in need of holiday support.
- The Christmas Committee & Toys for Joy offer holiday gifts and meal baskets who meet income guidelines. Application closes on Nov. 22nd
Opportunities For Holiday Giving
This holiday season, Andover High School continues to support the Family to Family Network, a non-profit organization in Anoka County that provides holiday assistance to families in need. Each year, our staff comes together to donate, and we are excited to extend this opportunity to include students and their families.
We will be collecting gift cards specifically for teenagers. Often, as children age, they are overlooked for holiday sponsorship. Collecting gift cards is a wonderful way to ensure that teens in our community have access to fun and meaningful gifts this holiday season. Please consider donating a gift card to your teen’s favorite place to eat, shop, get coffee, or buy gas.
The Multicultural Club will be collecting gift cards in the morning before the first hour. Gift cards will be collected from November 1st to 22nd.

The safety of all students is the first priority when determining if schools should stay open in adverse weather. If a determination is made to close school due to extreme winter weather, the district will alert families in a variety of ways, including:
Text and email message from #AHSchools. (For parents/guardians only.)
District and school websites.
District and school social media pages (e.g. Facebook, Instagram and Twitter).
Media outlets including WCCO, KSTP, FOX 9, KARE 11, CCX Media, WCCO radio and Star Tribune newspaper.
Those responsible for activities scheduled in schools over the weekend will determine if adverse weather conditions necessitate a cancellation.
Read more about the district’s policies on extreme winter weather at ahschools.us/weather.
