Three El Dorado High School Seniors Perform in the 2025 Rose Parade
Three seniors from El Dorado High School were selected to participate in the prestigious Pasadena City College (PCC) 225-member Honor Band and marched in the 2025 Rose Parade on Wednesday, January 1. Logan Johnson (Alto Saxophone), Ben Jones (Baritone Saxophone), and Alan Juarez (Clarinet) earned their places in the ensemble after being chosen from a competitive pool of more than 500 applicants. The PCC Honor Band, which includes college students serving as leaders alongside high school musicians, features performers ranging in age from 14 to over 60.

Woodsboro Sixth Grade Students Explore Ecology and Community at Outdoor Science Camp
From Tuesday, January 7, to Friday, January 10, sixth-grade students from Woodsboro Elementary School participated in a week-long outdoor science camp at the Emerald Cove Outdoor Science Institute. The camp provided students with a dynamic, hands-on educational experience, focusing on topics such as geology, wildlife biology, and ecology. Through interactive science experiments and guided hikes, students deepened their understanding of the natural world while actively engaging with their surroundings.
