Game Day Reminders
- All high school students who attend the football game as an audience member must be seated in the high school student section or be seated with their parent. No loitering.
- No outside food or drink is allowed into the stadium.
- Skateboards and backpacks are not allowed in the stadium.
- There will be no admittance into games after halftime. Once you leave, you will not be admitted back into the stadium.
Tivy FFA
Come join Tivy FFA for our FFA kickoff meeting at the Ag Barn @6pm Monday September 18th. Please talk to an Ag teacher for more information if needed.
Junior Class Meeting
Attention Juniors! We will be having a class meeting in the Library- Lab A during FIT on Wednesday September 20th. Please gather your classmates and attend this meeting so we can vote and discuss our Homecoming float ideas together. You can get with your class officers or see Mrs. Daggett in the counseling office for more information. We hope to see as many Juniors as possible on Wednesday!
Let's go Tivy Tennis
The Varsity Tennis Team will host Seguin and New Braunfels Canyon in key District matches Saturday at the HEB Tennis Center. Tivy will begin the day taking on Seguin at 9am. The following match will be against New Braunfels Canyon at 2pm. Good luck Tivy Tennis! Come out and support your fellow Antlers.
Lego Building Contest
Hi friends! On Tuesday the 19th we are having a lego building contest. Get a group of friends together and come build a lego structure. Mrs. Sprayberry will take pictures of the completed structures and then have students vote on the best one! Sign up at the circulation desk! You can sign up as a group or solo! Hispanic Heritage Month
In order to recognize the achievements and contributions of Hispanic-Americans, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States from September 15 to October 15 .
This observation began in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week under President Lyndon B. Johnson and later was expanded by President Ronald Reagan in 1988 to a 1 month celebration.
During this month one of the activities the Spanish Honor Society will be doing is playing school wide Bingo and Loteria. Make sure your teacher displays the bingo and Loteria cards where everyone can see them.
Starting Monday, we will call a Notable Hispanic in the USA for the Bingo and a word in Spanish for the Loteria. The first class to complete 1 line will win donuts for the class and the teacher will win a gift certificate.
