Dear Class of 2025,

Commencement is less than 60 days away! Here are some important updates and announcements (details below):

• Tickets -- each graduate will receive 6 tickets for the ceremony
• Commencement Speakers announced
• Regalia -- Friday is the last day to get the best price on regalia
• An update on cords and stoles will be in the next email
• Senior Week change -- Senior Luau is now Senior Sunset on Friday

The Commencement Committee

Each graduate will receive six tickets for friends and family to attend the ceremony in the Woodsboro Bank Arena. Tickets will be available for pick-up at the Graduation Fair on April 17 in the Gear Shop. After that, tickets will be available at the Whitaker Campus Center switchboard.

There will be overflow viewing in the Coffman Chapel.

Dr. Cheryl Dyson, DOL'21 has been chosen to be the speaker for the 2025 Graduate Commencement Ceremony.

Dr. Dyson is in her third year as superintendent for Frederick County Public Schools, where the core mission is supporting every child, every day. She earned her Doctor of Organizational Leadership at Hood College in 2021.

The speaker for the 2025 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will be announced in the next issue of The Blue & Grey.
