Mission Statement
Our ECHS Owls are taught to have H.O.P.E.--faith in the premise that they can create OPPORTUNITY and a better future through EFFORT, HARD WORK, and PERSONAL COURAGE. This idea of H.O.P.E. is woven into the fabric of our ECHS family.
Greetings ECHS School Community!
During the week of October 7th, the Wonderful ECHS PTSA planned our “First Ever” Homecoming Spirit Week, Homecoming Dance and ECHS Community & Alumni Picnic!!! It was HUGE SUCCESS from start to finish given the time and dedicated preparation of our Fantastic PTSA President, Mrs. Lynch and Vice President, Mrs. Reass, our PTSA Board; along with a team of student, parent and teacher/staff volunteers that helped to make this a reality! There were so many great moments throughout our First Ever ECHS Homecoming Week and within today’s OWL Update, we will begin by highlighting our First Ever ECHS Spirit Week and Advisory Door Decorating Winner! During the next few OWL Updates we will look forward to sharing highlights of the Homecoming Pep Rally, Homecoming Court, Homecoming Dance and Homecoming Family & Alumni Picnic! SHOUT OUT TO OUR ECHS PTSA and SCHOOL COMMUNITY!!!
We made it successfully to the close of the first nine week period because of the hard work of our ECHS students, dedicated efforts of our teachers & staff and continued support of our parents. Thank you so very much!

ECHS Enrichment Clubs - October 11, 2024
Thanks to all our ECHS co-leaders for their thoughtful preparation for the enrichment club sessions! Our appreciation to the club members for their participation and to our club sponsors for their supportive supervision.
This week’s featured enrichment club is:
Jewelry Making Club
Thanks to the Jewelry Making Club co-leads: (Ellie H., Nadia B. and Louisy G.) and teacher sponsor, Ms. Martinez. It was shared that the jewelry making club is a safe place where people can make jewelry and use their creativity. A skilled designer in the club made this lovely jewelry because they love to spread awareness of certain topics like domestic violence. Given their first hand knowledge, it is very important for them that people are educated regarding this topic. SHOUT OUT to the Jewelry Making Club!
Hispanic Heritage Month is from September 15th through October 15th. We are pleased to acknowledge the generations of Hispanic and Latino Americans who have positively influenced and enriched our ECHS community, society and the nation.
During this designated Month, the ECHS Culture Club and Access & Opportunity Campus Lead Mr. Julian Jones, are highlighting a Hispanic or Latino American to display in the Commons, within classrooms, during the morning announcements and within the OWL Update.
MUCH APPRECIATION to the ECHS Culture Club and Mr. Jones!
