2025-2026 Kindergarten Enrollment

Do you have an incoming Kindergartener and live within the Bateman attendance boundaries? Families living within the neighborhood boundaries of Bateman Elementary should register in boundary kindergarteners for the 2025-2026 school year starting today, Tuesday, April 1st! Please register as early as possible to help us with planning for the incoming Kindergarteners.

**All families who reside outside of the Bateman Attendance Boundaries must apply through go.cps.edu. GoCPS results are scheduled to be released on Friday, April 11th.**

Complete the CPS Enrollment Packet.

You will receive a CPS Enrollment Packet at the time of your appointment! During your appointment, tables will be provided for you to complete the paperwork. Staff will also be available to answer questions and support if needed.

At your appointment, parents or guardians will need to provide:

• Your child's birth certificate
• Your state issued identification
• 2 Proofs of address (Current utility bill, Illinois driver's license or State of Illinois identification card, Deed, Employee identification number, MediPlan/Medicaid card, Voter registration card, Court documents, Illinois Department of Public Aid card).

All Preschool Applications are through Chicago Early Learning!

The Chicago Early Learning Application will launch on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Mark the date on your calendar to apply during the Initial Application Period for the 2025–2026 school year. During this initial enrollment window, families will be able to submit early applications to help increase their chances of getting into competitive early education programs across the city.
