Community feedback needed on new Wolf Springs Middle boundaries
In October, the Facility Planning Board Advisory Committee began meeting to establish boundaries for the new Wolf Springs Middle School. The new middle school, built with voter-approved funds from the 2023 bond referendum and located amidst a growing area in the southern portion of the district, will provide much-needed enrollment relief to Aubry Bend Middle.
After reviewing enrollment, capacity projections and tools for adjustments, the committee has proposed the following boundaries to maintain contiguous attendance areas.
Proposed Wolf Springs Middle Boundaries
Students who attended Aspen Grove Elementary and Wolf Springs Elementary would be adjusted to attend Wolf Springs Middle beginning in August 2026.
Students who attended Morse Elementary and Timber Creek Elementary would attend Aubry Bend Middle.
Proposed Aspen Grove/Timber Creek Boundary Change
A minor adjustment is proposed for Aspen Grove Elementary and Timber Creek Elementary beginning in the 2025-26 school year.
The adjustment would shift the boundary line to W. 167th St., creating a clear and identifiable division:
Neighborhoods north and adjacent to W. 167th St. would attend Timber Creek Elementary.
Neighborhoods south and adjacent to W. 167th St. would attend Aspen Grove Elementary.
This change primarily affects neighborhoods that are still in the early stages of development.

Plan ahead for inclement weather that could cancel or delay school
When extreme weather conditions exist, the district may cancel school or utilize a two-hour delayed start when temporary adverse weather conditions exist. When possible, inclement weather announcements will be made the day before so staff and families can plan. There will be no announcement if school is in session. The superintendent makes the final decision by 6 a.m.
More information about inclement weather, including two-hour delayed starts, is available on the district website.
