The 5th Six Weeks Grading Period Starts on Tuesday, February 18th! Monday (2/17) is a school holiday for students/staff.

Bulldogs Bundle Up!
Bulldogs Bundle Up! It's cold outside. Winter weather fact: When clothes are layered it helps keep you warmer. Air actually gets trapped in between the layers to help keep you warm. Make it a Great Bulldog Day!
Morning Reminders
The building will open at 7:45 am.
Students should not be left outside the school building prior to 7:45 am. There is no adult supervision prior to 7:45 a.m. Please do not allow students to bring balls, toys, or other objects to play out front of the school.
Keeping students safe is a priority.

Donation Needs:
The food pantry has specifically requested the following high-need items:
- Canned vegetables (green beans, spinach, corn)
- Instant potatoes
- Other non-perishable food items are also welcomed

Chromebooks
Student Reminders
Students, please bring your assigned Chromebook to school every day. Ensure your Chromebook is charged each night so it’s ready for class. Students are not permitted to use, lend, or borrow each other’s devices.
Damages to Technology
If your chromebook or accessories checked out to the student is damaged report issues to our school librarian, Mrs. Marshall as soon as damages are found. Do not wait to report damages to librarian.
B.A.R.K. - Schoolwide Expectations
Attendance Counts
Be On Time to First Period & Present Daily
Every minute counts. Make sure to check your attendance daily. Students who are late/miss classes/miss days will possibly owe seat time. Please ensure your student arrives to school on time each day.
Texas Law Compulsory Attendance - Texas Education Code section 25.092
Requires that a student in grades kindergarten through grade 12 be in attendance for at least 90 percent of the days a class is offered in order to receive credit for the class or a final grade.
Second Semester Perfect Attendance Award
Be sure to be present EVERY school day.
No Absences of any kind to be entered
No Unexcused or Excused Absences
There will be a lottery drawing for awards
All grade levels are eligible
Each Six Weeks students will have an opportunity to earn a ticket for the 2025 Spring Perfect Attendance Award

Please make sure your scholar has logged into Beanstack each day to log his/her reading minutes.
Students should log at least 30 minutes of reading a day! Reading can be done on weekends and breaks too!
STAAR Testing Dates
No Backpacks on state testing days. Please remember chromebooks should be fully charged the night before.

ID Badges
All students have been issued an ID Badge now.
It is a District requirement for all students to wear badges daily for safety & security.
Students are expected to wear ID badges on a lanyard at all times in the building.
Parents will receive a phone call/message when a student forgets his/her ID Badge. This is important to make sure students have ID Badges for safety and security.
