Good afternoon. As we conclude this extraordinary school year, the Newark Tech Administration Team would like to express our deepest gratitude to you for entrusting us with your children's education. Your partnership, support, and collaboration have been invaluable in helping us achieve an exceptional year filled with significant accomplishments and milestones. With great pride, we share our collective success, which would not have been possible without your unwavering commitment to our school community.
This year, we proudly celebrated a 100% graduation rate, a testament to our students' dedication and hard work, supported by your encouragement and belief in their potential. Furthermore, 97% of our juniors met the state graduation requirement in English Language Arts and 67% in math. These impressive achievements reflect our high standards and the strong foundation we build together to prepare our students for future success.
In addition to these academic triumphs, we achieved a record-breaking chronic absenteeism rate of just 3.1%, the lowest in our district's history. This significant milestone underscores the vital role of the collaborative efforts between our dedicated staff and you, our parents, in creating an engaging and supportive environment for our students. Your active participation in fostering a culture of attendance and commitment to education has been pivotal to this success.
