24-25 Registration for Continuing Enrollment
Continuing Registration for the 2024-2025 school year has been re-opened. We MUST receive a completed digital packet for all returning students. This will allow for proper placement of your student for the new school year. This annual digital process will allow a family to complete one single “family” packet instead of completing one packet per student. Packets can be completed using any computer, tablet or smartphone with an internet connection.
Continuing Registration Steps:
Login and review or update the digital registration packet online at the ParentVue portal: https://sis.powayusd.com/packet.
Review and complete the required forms located at the conclusion of the process. A packet is not considered final until this step is completed.
Please note: MEDICATION FORMS or ADDITIONAL SIGNED SITE SPECIFIC FORMS WILL NOT BE COLLECTED UNTIL SCHOOL BEGINS IN AUGUST FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR.

Message for Mrs. Gordon:
Are you worried about attaining before or aftercare for your children...?
"I once was in this boat, and extremely stressed with the lack of help and resources. Chaparral families struggling with finding after-school care and summer camp resources, would appreciate knowing there are other available options aside from Chaparral's ESS program. I can help." If you are in a similar situation, please do not hesistate to email using the address above.

5th Grade Promotion - Volunteers Needed!
5th Grade Promotion is weeks away and we are looking for volunteers! Please sign up using the link below. The 5th Grade Promotion Committee encourages non-fifth grade families to volunteer, as we want all promoting 5th grade families to enjoy this momentous occasion. Please consider donating your time if you are not a fifth grade family. After all, in a few short years you will be here! Questions? Email Jenilee Cabading at Chaparral5PromoCommittee@gmail.com
Promotion & CHES Siblings
If you plan for a non-5th grade CHES sibling to attend the promotion event, you have two options:
- Notify the sibling's teacher AND be sure to check-out the sibling in the front office PRIOR to promotion. OR...
- Do not have your child go to class, firstly. Have your child remain with you for the event and then check-in your child at the end of promotion.
IMPORTANT--we cannot have teachers send students to promotion who have not been properly checked out for liability reasons.
Busy Bee Volunteers Needed!
Volunteers are needed to open the garden one day/week in the 24/25 school year. Please contact Nicole Musial for more information at nicole.musial19@gmail.com.
Still Need a Yearbook?
Although the deadline to order a yearbook has passed, you can still order a yearbook and have it sent to your home or the school. You will pay for shipping and handling. Click here to purchase a Chaparral Yearbook.
School Supply Kits Available + Coordinator Needed!
It's time to purchase your 1st day of School Supply kit for the 2024/2025 school year! This is a simple fundraiser that allows parents to bypass the stress of shopping for school supplies in August and, instead, purchase a custom, supply kit created by Chaparral teachers. Supply kits are delivered directly to students in their classrooms on the first day of school.
