The Morris Catholic High School Fencing program invited students in grades 5-8 across the Diocese to learn new fencing techniques and to participate in meets with other local area students. Pictured is our very own Gabriela in Grade 5. She said, "I got to meet a lot of new people and learned a lot about the sport. The coaches were very nice and I look forward to participating in their summer program." We are grateful for this opportunity and look forward to a continued partnership with MCHS in future events.

Our HSA partnered with Outback Steakhouse to bring a bit of joy to our teachers this week. We are thankful to Charlene and her team at Outback for donating such a special lunch. Many hands helped make this a wonderful day and we are grateful to our parents who volunteered their time to supervise lunchtime activities allowing our teachers the time together. We have a fabulous school community and it shows each day!

We are thankful for our wonderful Student Council Association for organizing our Pancake Day! This was a special treat for students and teachers! As an added bonus, the building smelled delicious!

Bishop Sweeney hosted our Diocesan schools for a special May Crowning mass on Tuesday. Our student leadership traveled to St. John the Baptist cathedral in Paterson for this special event. Bishop Sweeney's message was powerful and well received by all in attendance. We are grateful for this memorable opportunity.
