ATTENTION 8TH GRADE GIRLS
The attached form is being shared as the district is looking to create an empowering space for women and gender-nonconforming Burnsville students who want to embrace themselves and our community while learning from community leaders/entrepreneurial mentors about their experiences. We hope to have circles of healing for girls to talk about their struggles of identity, celebrate wins, mourn losses, and support one another. Additionally, we hope to have speakers come in regularly to tell their stories of creation, art, parenthood, womanhood, identity, business, embracing differences, etc. Students will learn how to tell their own stories through various means and above all, work together to create a supportive space. (AS WE WORK THROUGH AN ENTREPRENEURIAL LENS ALLOWING FOR THE CREATION OF A BUSINESS PLAN AS WELL)
Please fill out the form if you're interested in helping cement this idea into reality.

2023-2024 One91 At-Home Internet Access
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) has been created to provide a long-term option for reducing or eliminating internet costs. For the 2023-2024 school year, the ACP resources will become the primary recommendation for students and families looking for at-home internet options. The ACP program is excellent for students who are stable in their housing as it utilizes Comcast or other vendors to provide high-quality broadband internet.
