Be Here. Be You. Belong!
Principal Message
Dear Meadow Point Families,
Happy 2025! It is so great to have our students back in the building. As you know one of my goals this year has been to learn all things about the wonderful Meadow Point community. It has been exactly what I imagined and more! I'm looking forward to the new learnings that will come this semester to better prepare for your next school year. I invite you to share with me your own learnings and experiences so that together we can continue to make Meadow Point the best school for all of our students.

Every year we have the opportunity to nominate one of our amazing educators. We would love for you to complete this brief 3 question survey by Tuesday 1/14. This form was also sent in Thursday's folders (bright orange sheet).

Social Emotional Resource
Students can STOP when they're starting to feel overwhelmed or out of control
Consider all the OPTions and decide which response will put them in the green zone
And GO with that choice that will work best for them at that time
Parent Self-Care
Parents and caregivers are supremely burned out. When people are burned out, they are less engaged. They are also more likely to:
make mistakes,
miscommunicate,
have trouble concentrating, and
forget information.
To help this, we can ensure we are taking care of ourselves. As they say in the airplanes: put your own mask on first.
This week’s self-care task is to do something creative. Try something new, start a fun project, or resume a favorite hobby. Choose activities that have nothing to do with your work or whatever is causing you stress.
