Poetry Club
Writing poetry can be a real snap.
You can write it like Shakespeare, you can do it like rap.
You can make it be funny, you can make it real sad.
If you write from the heart, it can never be bad.
So check out the poetry club-it might be for you.
When you write a poem, you create something new!
The purpose of the Poetry Club is to foster an appreciation of poetry through reading, writing, and performing this art form in its various forms, including sonnets, ballads, rap, odes, and free verse.
Did you know that a Poetry Club Improves …..
Verbal Skills and Memory. ...
Improves Critical Thinking. ...
Develops Empathy and Insight. ...
Encourages Engagement with Other Art Forms.
Poetry is a way to understand how language and symbol systems work. It is a worthy expression of emotion, or deep feelings, and aesthetics, or a sense of what is beautiful about the world.
