Lake Bluff Elementary School Family Newsletter
Hello Lake Bluff Families,
As the weather is getting warmer, we are seeing more bicycles and scooters about. What a wonderful sign of spring! Please remind your students about safety and being aware of their surroundings. We want to make sure we keep everyone safe, both pedestrians and cyclists/skaters alike.
Speaking of safety, please remind your student(s) that the playground structure next to the EEC is for younger students (1st grade and below) and the larger playground structure is for older students. This applies to both before and after school. Thank you for your assistance in keeping our students safe.
Hot Dog Day forms are due tomorrow. If you haven't filled out the form for your student's order, please do so. We need a form completed for every student by April 25. We appreciate your help in gathering this information.
Thank you and have a wonderful week!
Kind Regards,
Johanna French, Principal
A long-standing Lake Bluff tradition, Hot Dog Day is a lunchtime picnic with families in attendance. This year's picnic will occur from 12:00-1:00pm on June 5th. Students can order a school lunch, including a turkey hot dog or veggie dog, chips, juice box, and a cookie. Please note regular school lunch fees apply.
This year, every student will receive a FREE Hot Dog Day shirt. Please indicate your student's shirt size. Please note we will not be able to exchange sizes, so please make sure you order correctly.
Please complete ONE FORM PER STUDENT by Friday, April 25. Please click on your student's teacher to complete their form. If you have multiple students, you will need to complete the form multiple times. Thank you!

Be a Voice for Wisconsin Students
Make a plan to share your thoughts on the state budget to ensure Wisconsin kids get what they need after 16 consecutive years of state budgets that have failed to keep pace with inflation. It’s time to end the cycle and store our commitment-and our constitutional obligation-to our children.
