EPE Updates
Newsletter - November 12th 2024
Dear Families,
We wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone for their support during what has been an extremely challenging week at the school. A school is very much a family, and when we lose one of our own it can have an impact on the whole building. Thank you to all those who sent in messages of support, and have reached out.
We also wanted to take a moment to thank NL Schools for their amazing support this week. Additional resources were placed in the school to help with any counselling needs, and to offer staff and students support as needed. Their responsiveness and understanding were truly appreciated.
Some families have reached out to ask how they can support Jake's family at this time. Please know that this is also at the forefront of our mind, and we will be in touch with further information.

On Friday, November 29th, Elizabeth Park Elementary is pleased to promote “Sport/Jersey Day”. It is our intention to educate our students on the significance of physical activity. It is a day to show our love and support for sport by wearing a jersey, shirt, hat, team or club uniform etc to school.
This is an event that celebrates love, sport and community!!
On Jersey Day students and staff are invited to show their support by doing either of the following:
Wearing their favourite sport jersey, shirt, hat, uniform etc.
Wearing clothing showing the type of physical activity that your child may feel proud of.
Or wearing our school colors (blue and yellow) to celebrate our EPE school teams/ community.
