Dear Franklin Families,
Happy New Year! I hope you all had a holiday season filled with rest, joy, and cherished moments with loved ones. As we step into 2025, we are filled with excitement and optimism for the opportunities ahead. We can’t wait to welcome our students back to campus on Monday, January 6, 2025, as we prepare to wrap up Quarter 2 with focus and determination.
It’s hard to believe that we’re already halfway through the school year! Quarter 3 will officially begin on Monday, January 13, 2025, and I am confident that together, we will continue building on the successes and progress we’ve achieved so far.
With cooler-than-normal temperatures expected next week due to a cold front, please ensure your children are dressed appropriately and in compliance with our dress code:
- Undershirts: Solid-colored long-sleeve undershirts in navy, black, gray, or white may be worn under uniform polos.
- Leggings: Girls may wear solid-colored leggings in navy, black, gray, or white under uniform bottoms for added warmth.
- Sweatpants: Permitted for PE classes only.
- Outerwear: Only Franklin Academy outerwear is allowed. Please label all outerwear with your child’s name.
Arrival Reminders:
- K-5 Students: Morning arrival is from 6:50 AM to 7:30 AM.
- MYP Students: Arrival begins at 8:00 AM (please do not drop off earlier).
Let’s make a strong start as we return from break! I kindly ask for your patience during morning arrivals and transitions as everyone adjusts back into the routine. Together, we can ensure a smooth and successful start to the new year.
