Term 4 begins!

1. SEP Conferences: We are grateful to have had the opportunity to meet with you and your student during parent-teacher conferences!
2. Monday, March 21: Online Registration for Current Nebo families opens. The district will send this letter out to families.
3. Monday, April 11: Online Registration for New-to-Nebo Families opens. A registration link for families will be on the Nebo Home page to start the process.
4. School Community Council: School Community Council Elections are open for one more week. This council aims to review and enhance our School Improvement Plan by setting goals and allocating Trustland funds to meet those goals. Please e-mail me if you have an interest in participating in this council. If several parents express interest, an election will be held.
5. Math Facts March Madness: Each year at the end of March or the beginning of April, we randomly choose students working hard on their math facts to shoot baskets for cash. This is a fun way for us to celebrate all of the hard work students are putting into learning their math facts.
6. Order Yearbooks BEFORE April 11th: Scan the barcode below to order. This is the last opportunity to purchase yearbooks; yearbooks will not be available for purchase in the office.

1. Conferencias SEP: ¡Estamos agradecidos de haber tenido la oportunidad de reunirnos con usted y su estudiante durante las conferencias de padres y maestros!
2. Lunes 21 de marzo: Se abre la inscripción en línea para las familias actuales de Nebo. El distrito enviará esta carta a las familias.
3. Lunes 11 de abril: Se abre la inscripción en línea para familias nuevas en Nebo. Habrá un enlace de registro para familias en la página de inicio de Nebo para comenzar el proceso.
4. Consejo Comunitario Escolar: Las elecciones del Consejo Comunitario Escolar están abiertas por una semana más. Este consejo tiene como objetivo revisar y mejorar nuestro Plan de Mejoramiento Escolar al establecer metas y asignar fondos de Trustland para cumplir con esas metas. Por favor envíeme un correo electrónico si tiene interés en participar en este consejo. Si varios padres expresan interés, se llevará a cabo una elección.
5. Locura de marzo con datos matemáticos: cada año, a finales de marzo o principios de abril, elegimos al azar a los estudiantes que están trabajando duro en sus datos matemáticos para tirar canastas por dinero en efectivo. Esta es una forma divertida de celebrar todo el arduo trabajo que los estudiantes están haciendo para aprender las operaciones matemáticas.
6. Ordene los anuarios ANTES del 11 de abril: escanee el código de barras a continuación para ordenar. Esta es la última oportunidad para comprar anuarios; los anuarios no estarán disponibles para su compra en la oficina.

Book Fair

Last week's Book Fair was a huge success. We're grateful to our wonderful Book Fair Chair and to all the parents that volunteered to work the Book Fair too.

Teacher Appreciation week will be the week of March 28 to April 1st. In preparation, volunteers can decorate doors for our beloved teachers and staff starting after school this Friday, March 25.

As in years past, you are welcome to use the colored butcher paper in the school workroom. It is recommended that you take your butcher paper home and do as much as you can there so you don't need to spend so much time at school to decorate. Also, Miss Balli has asked that we use blue painter's tape to attach anything to the doors in order to protect their finish. The PTA will be providing that tape, but if you happen to have your own you are welcome to bring it.

We are so grateful for the many hours of service you have rendered to our School Community Council, PTA, classrooms and for being willing to jump in to sub for us last minute! We are grateful for you!

We are pleased to offer a free and confidential website for families, ParentGuidance.org. This site was developed by licensed therapists that provides trusted and specialized courses, professional support, and a safe community for parents, to learn how to support your child.

With cold weather arriving, we would encourage you to write your student's names in their gloves and jackets so that if they lose them on the playground we can return them. If you are new to our school and would like to see our winter protocols, click here.

A few reminders:

• We are working hard to teach students to use the crosswalks. We are concerned about the number of students running across the pick-up lanes and parking lots. If you can help us teach your children about this that would be great!
