John Glenn Students Shine at Career Development Conference
Students from John Glenn High School's DECA Club attended the International Career Development Conference in Anaheim, California this week. Allie Greenshields and Kaylie Sheppard presented their School-Based Enterprise project and participated in an SBE workshop.
Jason Markaj and Daniel Wang competed in the Financial Services Team event, facing a 100-question test and engaging in multiple case study role plays.
Embracing Unity at Culture and Diversity Festival
More than 700 students, families, staff and community members united to participate in our inaugural Culture and Diversity Festival. This event featured music, food, presentations and traditions from some of the diverse cultures within our community.
High School Baseball Takes Centerfield at Comerica Park
Come support the John Glenn High School and Wayne Memorial High School varsity baseball teams as they play at Comerica Park. at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024.
Tickets are $35 each and includes a ticket to the Tigers vs. Pirates game on May 28, 2024, at 6:40 p.m.

- Stottlemyer Early Childhood Center is now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 school year. With classes for children three, four and five years old, your child’s early childhood experience will pave the way for a great future. Complete the interest form.
- Do you have a child who will be ready for Young 5s or kindergarten next fall? Enrollment is now open for the 2024-2025 school year and is entirely online.
- The Intra-County School of Choice for the 2024-2025 school year window is now open for kindergarten through 12th grade students who do not reside within the Wayne-Westland Community Schools boundaries.
