Booth Blast

From the desk of Mr. Ratliff
This week at J.C. Booth has been truly wonderful. The pleasant weather and sunshine have undoubtedly enhanced everyone's days. I trust that each of you has had a fulfilling week. Our dedicated teachers and staff are diligently working to ensure that our warriors thrive in all aspects. We would greatly appreciate your support in fostering this at home as we continue our journey towards success in 2025.
I am eager to hear your thoughts! On Friday, February 14th, we will host Doughnuts and Discussions from 9 to 10 a.m. in the cafeteria. We invite all of you to join us! This will be an opportunity for you to share your valuable feedback regarding your experiences this year with us and your students.
Every student matters, Every moment counts,

*Georgia School Climate Survey (Spring 2025)
Please take a few minutes and complete this climate survey from the Georgia Department of Education for J.C. Booth. This survey contributes to our Climate Star Rating and helps us acquire important, valuable information to help our Warriors continue to excel.

*Bikes and Electric Bikes Concerns
It is wonderful to see our students taking their own bikes to school, but we are having trouble with students parking their bikes in our exit ways and using the schools outlets to charge their bikes. Please remind your students to use the bike rack in the front of the school for all types of bikes.
*Parking Concerns
We are experiencing traffic congestion in the afternoons.
Please remember to fill in all available space while waiting in line, rather than leaving gaps between the cars. You can pull all the way to the end of the curb to help keep the carpool line moving. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
*Counseling Department
The Counseling Department will be teaching Signs of Suicide Lessons to all 7th graders on Monday, February 10th, and Tuesday, February 11th. If you have any further questions, contact the 7th grade counselor, Mrs. Pankopp.
