Principal's Corner

Let’s have a Fun Run Gator Nation! We are really getting excited about our coming Fun Run. Our student leaders were great at reminding us to donate this week during carpool. Our grade levels have picked their “run theme” for the day so we’ll have minions, superheroes, Hawaiian beach, and colorful tutus running around our field next Tuesday. The funds LASA raises support our teacher classroom budgets, our teacher professional development requests, and student activities. This year we are not using an outside company which means we get to keep 100% of your donation instead of paying 35% to a company. We are hoping to get all those last minute donations and corporate donations today.


Next week is our ALL-School Spirit Week! Come prepared to celebrate the end of the first quarter and our Gator Nation pride by participating in Spirit Week. Dress of Choice guidelines apply to the Spirit Week dress up days and if you don’t want to dress in the “theme of the day”, that’s okay, just wear the regular uniform. We love having a week to celebrate together!

LASA purchased a set of magnetic tiles for 5th Grade math to use!

After School Art Club for Grades K-6

Join us for a new after school art class hosted by the Createry Workshop Highlands Ranch!

Students will discover different art mediums each week! Each project will be adjusted to fit different age groups and artistic skills. This class is centered around a chosen base project where children will learn art concepts and design elements, learn how to use different materials, and have fun while creating!
