MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
It is hard to believe today is DECEMBER 01 and we only have thirteen school days left until 2024! We have a BUSY thirteen days of school left and need a STRONG finish to the second quarter.
I am very proud of the enthusiasm and commitment our students and staff displayed during the month of November with creative fundraising events. The 4th grade class raised just over $1300 for The Children's Heart Association. As part of their "Long Walk to Water" Water Day, the 6th grade class raised $1989.00 to help build a well and provide clean water by partnering with Drink Local, Drink Tap. The Builders Club delivered 1552 items to a local food bank. Once again, thank you to the students staff and families for your continued support and participation. We are proud of our the CMS community and grateful for the collective effort that has made these fundraising endeavors a tremendous success.
MAP TESTING
On Tuesday, December 5th students will be taking the Reading MAP assessment and the Math assessment on Thursday, December 7th. The MAP reports will be sent home after winter break.
Big weekend for the Browns! 8-4 sounds A LOT BETTER than 7-5!

During the nonprofit’s “Now That’s What I’m Talking About!” summer lunch program Nov. 11 at Burton American Legion Post 459, Jaiden presented a check for $350.
Jaiden is a 4th grader at CMS!
