First Woman - Expanding Our Universe
Expanding Our Universe picks up where we left off with Callie, RT, and Dan in a treacherous situation on the Moon. Callie and her new team, Astronaut Meshaya Billy and Canadian Astronaut Martin Tremblay, use their training and human ingenuity to deploy a next-generation space telescope. We see how teamwork and perseverance help the crew overcome the challenges of living and working on other worlds.

Flower Craft STEAM for Kids!
Learn About Solubility With Coffee Filters
Make a gorgeous bouquet of flowers with coffee filters, and markers. No coloring in skills needed because simply add water to the coffee filter, and the colors beautifully blend together.
Why do the colors on your coffee filter flower blend together? It’s all to do with solubility! If something is soluble that means it will dissolve in that liquid (or solvent). The ink used in these washable markers dissolves in what? The water of course!
With our DIY coffee filter flowers, the water (solvent) is meant to dissolve the marker ink (solute). For this to happen, the molecules in both the water and the ink must be attracted to each other. When you added drops of water to the designs on the paper, the ink should spread out and run through the paper with the water.

LEGO Challenge Cards👇🏽
This training mission will challenge your student’s ability to use “The Force”. They will use The Force to get their STEM Ball (AKA Ping Pong Ball) to levitate. In doing this, they will discover the phenomenon that occurs when a ping pong ball is placed above a straw and air is blown through the straw. Most people would expect the ping-pong ball to fly up and off to the side—but it doesn’t. Due to Bernoulli’s Principle, the ball will hover in the air above the straw. This project can end with a demonstration using a shop-vac or hair dryer with a ping-pong ball that will produce the same interesting results.
