π Principal's Message π
π Diagnostics are DONE!
Dear Parents, Students and Staff,
Back-to-School night was such an amazing experience! We had about 12 students and families in person and about 14 students and families online. What a GREAT turnout! The curriculum materials are in and pick up is happening.
As we end the majority of our beginning of year (BOY) diagnostics, and slide into our grade-level content, I would like to thank you all for your patience! As with anything new, there are challenges and you all pivoted and adjusted with us.
We will begin this week with a full week of core content posted on Monday at 8:00am. As a reminder, students must complete the work for the day in each class by 8:00am the next class day to be marked present for that class period. We will then average the four core class attendance to provide a daily attendance for each student. If you have questions about this process, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Teachers will begin to provide students their data to the diagnostic assessments and work with them on creating individual student learning goals for each subject. It is super important that the student takes ownership of these learning goals in order to ensure buy in on the learning process.
Zoom is finally working! Teachers have posted their office hours in their classes, as well as Zoom links to those office hours. Synchronous office hours are not mandatory, but suggested, especially in the beginning. They will also be recorded.
Our Cypress Rooms open this week! Please see all information below on how to sign up for this hybrid experience.

- " I think that the most important quality for getting along with others is generosity because if you don't give and just take it other people will think you are selfish and will not want to be around you."
- " I think trust is the most important quality for getting along with others."
- " An important quality to get along with others is not being shy and letting them get to know you."
- " Finding things you have in common with each other."
