Week 19 - December 11th, 2023
Message from the Principal
Dear Spartan Community,
As we approach the final week of the fall semester, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the incredible achievements and positive spirit that have defined our school community. From academic excellence to artistic performances, athletic victories to community service initiatives, we have witnessed countless examples of Spartan spirit shining through.
This week, our students will embark on finals week, culminating the hard work and dedication they have poured into their studies throughout the semester. I have no doubt that they will approach these challenges with the same resilience and determination they have demonstrated all year. To our students, I want to say: Believe in yourselves, stay focused, and strive for your personal best. We are all cheering you on!
As we close the chapter on the fall semester, I want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation for the tireless efforts of our dedicated staff and faculty. Their unwavering commitment to student success, coupled with their passion for learning and creativity, has fostered an environment where Spartans feel valued and supported.
Thank you to our supportive parents and guardians who actively participate in our school community and provide invaluable support to their children. Your partnership is essential in ensuring the success of our students.
Finally, I want to extend my warmest wishes for a peaceful, joyful, and prosperous winter break. May you enjoy the time spent with loved ones, recharge your batteries, and return refreshed and ready for the challenges and opportunities that await in the new year.
I am incredibly optimistic about the future of Chula Vista High School. Together, you will continue to build a school community that is inclusive, innovative, and dedicated to the success of every student.
From all of us at Chula Vista High School, we wish you a happy holiday season and a prosperous New Year!

Student Drop-Off and Gate Locations
Gates will be open for students to enter campus at 8:00am. We will have four entry points with designated drop off areas for students. Those are marked on the map with a blue arrow:
#1 North 100, drop off point is the driveway in the front of the 100 building.
#2 South 100, drop off point is the parking lot in front of the GYM.
#3 Youth Center, drop off point is the Youth Center parking lot on L street (before school program)
#4 K Street Gate, drop off point is on K street.
These areas will also serve as pick up points for students after school. For the safety of all, please make sure you observe all traffic patterns and rules. Also please note, supervision on campus will begin at 8:00am when the main campus gates are open. If you need to drop off your student earlier, please drop them off on gate 3, our Youth Center entrance starting at 7:15am. Here, we will provide a safe, supervised place through our before/after school program for your student to wait for the main campus to open.
