Congrats Orienteering π§
Chief Newvine commented:
"βBremerton Knights finished the weekend in 3rd place overall and 2nd place JROTC unit. Texas was difficult and I am so proud of our team. The weather and terrain were harsh and the thorny vegetation proved to be the hardest obstacle."

Pep Assembly π·
We had our Spring Pep Assembly on Thursday 3/27! Many BHS knights were recognized for attending State competitions in their particular club or sport! We also had the pleasure of seeing a STEP and Drill Team performance. Their performance was fantastic and a crowd favorite! If you'd like to see a clip of their performance, check out the BHS Facebook page! In the end, our judges awarded the Spirt Sword to the Sophomore class for their respectfulness and overall school spirit!
Key Club π
Ms. Irish, club advisor and teacher at BHS, commented:
"Key Club attended the 75th Annual PNW District Convention representing the Key Clubs from Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Northern California, Idaho, and Vancouver, Canada.
Bremerton High School had the opportunity to take 23 students - one of the biggest groups ever! We participated in general sessions, spirit competitions, leadership workshops, and got to meet other Key Clubbers from our district. Our districtβs new Lieutenant Governor is our very own, Cordero Gentry who was installed as the new LTG during the final session.
Big βshoutoutβ to our sponsors, Kiwanis of Bremerton, for supporting us financially, enabling us to participate in events like this!"

Now is the time to sign up for the SAT test! Many four year colleges require SAT scores for admission. If you are planning on attending college, it's a good idea to take the SAT test and explore colleges that are the best fit for you.
BHS only offers the SAT once per year. This year's test date is April 25th. This test is most commonly taken in 11th grade but 9th and 10th graders are also welcome. The cost is $60 or $22 for students who qualify for an income-based waiver. Income-based waivers are only available in grades 11 and 12. To sign up, bring your payment to the main office no later than April 15th. For more information, contact Mr. Swanson at chris.swanson@bremertonschools.org
Happy Spring Break π
πNo school on Thursday 4/3 and Friday 4/4, and Spring Break will start 4/7-4/11! BHS is wishing you a happy Spring Break! π
