PTA:
Thank you to our PTA for providing glasses for the Eclipse to all staff and students. We appreciate all that you do to support our Leopards.
Food Deliveries (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.)
We do not accept deliveries from outside sources. You are welcome to bring your student food for their lunches, but we cannot receive lunches from any of the food delivery services. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Stars Hockey Game Fundraiser:
We had such fun in the fall with this event that we decided to do it again! Please check out the flyer below with details. This fundraising event will take place on February 19th. Thank you for your support and we hope to see you there!
STAAR Testing:
Over the next few weeks, our 3rd-5th grade students will be participating in the state-mandated State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) test. Please see the schedule below for specific dates.
Friday, April 12th 3rd, 4th, and 5th Reading ( Make up 4/15-4/17)
Wednesday, April 17 5th Science ( Make up 4/22-4/24)
Tuesday, April 23rd 3rd, 4th, and 5th Math ( Math up 4/29-5/1)
Please assist us in maintaining an appropriate testing environment by remembering the following:
Ensure that your child arrives at school on time each day, eats a healthy breakfast, and gets plenty of sleep each night.
If you need to reach your child’s teacher, please call the office at 512-704-1200 and leave a message.
The campus will be closed to visitors during testing.

Solar Eclipse:
We are looking forward to this wonderful event for our campus! Thank you to Lyndsey Tatum (3rd grade), along with our England PTA, for their partnership in planning for this day.
All students must have a signed permission slip to be able to join their friends and teachers outside for the big event.
All students and staff who will be watching the eclipse will receive viewing glasses the day of the event. We’ll have additional staff on hand to ensure our students remain safe while they’re outside. We’ll also block off our parking lot at 12:45 to ensure that community members are not using our space during the event. We plan to view this event from our track from 1:20-2:00.
Teachers and staff will have discussed with their students the expectations for the day, including behavior and safety guidance while the eclipse is happening. Please reinforce with your children the importance of following these guidelines. We want to be sure we have a fun and exciting day and that students remember to participate safely.
If you are picking your child up early, please plan to do so before 12:00. Based on the survey responses, we anticipate many students leaving early that day. Please be aware there may be a longer wait to pick up your child due to the number of parents/guardians we expect.
