Who: Young Adults age 18 and out of school for 1 year - 30 years old and bring a friend or two!

Goal: Restore our spirits, connect with each other and people in our community
When: Friday, Aug. 1 (Supper time) - Sunday, Aug 3, 2025 (returning about noon)
Where: Stay at The Grove United Methodist Church (A/C but air mattresses are needed) with campfire pit and they have an outdoor contemporary service at 10:30 AM (weather dependent). We'll make and make our own meals.
IMPORTANT NOTE: RSVP Deadline is ASAP, so Cindy can put a deposit down on the place to stay, and set up the service opportunities.
Tentative Agenda:
- Friday, Aug 1, Optional Afternoon Service Project at pop-up market in St. Paul; then get to location, have supper and CHOICE group and independent time (s'mores over campfire, games, spiritual devotion)
- Saturday, Aug 2: Breakfast, visit 2 organizations (listen to tour and meal serve/prep for both) and cultural story, supper, reflection and Individual and group CHOICE time (see above).
- Sunday, Aug 3: Breakfast, pack out by 8 am, help serve coffee hour, attend church service outside at 10:30 AM where we are staying. Leaving about 12 noon.
Participants will be involved in planning meals and food shopping with Cindy's support.
Cindy will plot the weekend out and connect with community partners to make work team reservations.

- Come hang out at a bonfire to welcome new YAM members and to send off those who are transitioning out. There will be s'mores and lawn games. Bring a snack to share.

Summer FUN: Sunday, July 13, 2025: Church Picnic, Games and Merriment!

Food starts about 11:30 AM.
There will be all-ages parachute, relays, and other games starting at 12:45 PM.
Bring hammocks if you want!

Monday, August 4 - Thursday, August 7 (Volunteers arrive 5:30 PM - 7:45 PM: Followers Youth (7th - 12th Graders)–Volunteer to help with Vacation Bible School (VBS) Activities.

Sunday, August 10 after Church: Join in the big group pizza making VBS Celebration.
Saturday, August 16, Time TBA: Followers Youth and Young Adults Joint Service Project: Help distribute backpacks to kids. More details to follow.

NOTE: I am flexible to move these times around on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday according to the needs of Followers youth and their families, volunteers, and Young Adults. Just text/call/email and we can find a time.
My cell phone is on 2pm - 9pm Sunday - Thursday. I check 1x on Friday and Saturday.
Generally:
- Sunday: 8:30-10:00 AM & After Church
- Monday: 2-4 PM/Flexible
- Tuesday: 2-5 PM/Flexible
- Wednesdays: 1:00 PM - 7:30 PM
- Thursday - Flexible
- Friday/Saturday OFF (unless special event weekend).
*Generally 20 hours/week; and depends on 2nd job needs. Sunday and Wednesday are the most set.
