Principal's Point of View
Dear Remarkable Razorback Families,
We had an incredible week here at Roberson! As we move forward into the second quarter, our students are giving it their all—working hard on projects, preparing for upcoming tests, and diving deep into their learning. We’re so proud of the effort and enthusiasm they’re bringing to each day!
Excitingly, our 6th and 7th graders will be participating in the TTAP math pilot test this year. For the past two years, Roberson has partnered with TEA to help shape the future of testing in Texas, and this year is no different. We’re eager to see our students’ continued success in this innovative pilot program!
A friendly reminder: consistent attendance is essential to your student’s success. With eight class periods each day, leaving early means missing important instruction in each class. For our 7th and 8th graders taking high school credit classes, attendance is especially important to ensure they stay on track. Let’s make every minute count!
Beginning November 13th, all students must have their school ID to ride the bus. This district mandate means students without an ID won’t be permitted to board. Rest assured, we’re working diligently to make sure every student who’s ordered a replacement ID will have it before that date.
Lastly, please find our Thankful Giving sign-up link below. This is the final opportunity for parents to request assistance, so don’t miss out! And thank you for your continued generosity in sending in items for our scholars’ community projects.
Here’s to another week of growth, learning, and community at Roberson, where magic happens, and the impossible is possible!
With warm regards,
Cecelia Brumsey
Relentless Principal
