If your child sold 3 or more boxes, they are invited to the pig race and will be silly stringing their principal! Last year, I was a covered in sillly string from head to toe and then some! Bible Club Begins Thursday
Thursday, September 26
Beginning this Thursday, our Bible Club will be meeting each Thursday from 3-4 pm. Bible club is an after school club that has been meeting for many years at Bethel and the other elementary schools in Haywood County. Students will meet in the auditorium. The leaders are members of our community. If your child is planning to attend, please write this in their agenda book. Students will be picked up in the car line like at the end of a school day. If they usually go to afterschool, please write that in their agenda book as well. They will receive more information on this first day that will need to be signed and returned. Thanks!

Bookaween 👻🎃📚
Bookaween will be October 31st!
Our annual Bookaween event will be on Thursday, October 31st. More information will be sent out in October, but for families to plan appropriately for this year's event, here is some information for you:
- Due to the size and the movement of the classes throughout the day, blow up costumes will not be allowed for our Bookaween event.
- Students will come up with an adjective or vocabulary word to describe their costume/character they are dressing up like. Vocabulary learning is part of our school improvement plan and anytime we can incorporate vocabulary learning we will! Students will be coming up with their word at school, so it is no extra work expected at home. An example: Spiderman- heroic or brave.
- A Sign Up Genius will be sent out by PTO closer to time to get parent volunteers to help with this. More info. TBA.
