Get Ready for One School, One Book!
We're thrilled to announce that Hayes Elementary's exciting "One School, One Book" program is back starting Monday, May 6th!
Mark your calendars! On May 6th, each student will bring home a special packet and a copy of our chosen book (one book per family). This is a fantastic opportunity for the entire Hayes community to dive into the same story together!
Here's how you can join the fun:
- Encourage your child to read the book with you at home.
- The packet will include engaging questions related to the book.
- Help your child complete the questions in the packet – they'll have a chance to win a prize!
Win a Prize!
Students who complete the questions in the packet can bring them back to school for a chance to be part of our daily raffle. Winners chosen each morning will be called down to the office for a special surprise! They will learn more by watching our school news.
Get ready for a month of reading adventures at Hayes!
We can't wait to see the excitement as our school community comes together through the power of a shared story.
Happy Reading!
The Hayes Elementary One School, One Book Team
Carnival Night!
A huge thank you to the Hayes PTO and all the families who made Carnival Night a blast! From the fun games and delicious food to the happy faces everywhere. We're especially grateful to Mrs. Fitzgibbons and our volunteers for their hard work!

Have you moved?
If you have recently moved, please inform the office (216) 529-4228. It is important to keep accurate student addresses so that we are able to send your child’s report card and 2024-2025 classroom assignment at the end of the summer. If you have moved, Central Office has requested that the LakewoodPost Office return all mailings to us rather than forward it to another address.
