Attendance Information
"IDOE has made school attendance a priority for all public institutions in the state. Regular school attendance can help support academic progress, concept development, social skills development, a positive learning environment, early learning habits, and positive teacher-student relationships. Prioritizing attending school on a regular basis can also help to avoid academic underachievement, social isolation, and low self-esteem.
For more information on the state's attendance initiative and how Indian Creek Schools rates compare to other districts across the state, check out the IDOE Attendance Dashboard."
Our attendance rate for the first nine-weeks was 95.90%.
Our attendance rate for the 2nd nine-weeks was 95.83%
2021-2022 - 96.18%
2022-2023 - 95.45%

How Sick is too Sick?
As we navigate a season marked by various illnesses, it is crucial that we work together to maintain a healthy and safe learning environment for our students. With several illnesses circulating within our school community, your cooperation in keeping sick children at home becomes even more significant.
Here is an information sheet designed to serve as a general guide for parents, outlining when it's advisable to keep your child at home. By following these recommendations, we can work together to minimize the spread of germs.
Background Checks
In an effort to keep our schools safe, all volunteers must have a background check completed and on file with the school. To volunteer in the classroom, chaperone field trips or attend classroom parties, you must have a background check completed.
Important: A new background check must be done every school year.
THIS BACKGROUND CHECK IS NOW FOR BOTH ICES AND ICIS. YOU WILL NOT NEED TO COMPLETE A FORM FOR BOTH BUILDINGS!

Lost and Found
Our lost and found is currently full of jackets, lunch boxes, gloves, hats and various other items waiting to be reunited with their owners. If your child has mentioned something missing, encourage them to check the lost and found area. We want to ensure that every item finds its way back to its rightful owner.
