Gettys Middle: Weekly Newsletter
May 13 - May 17
Message from Mr. Nelson
Dear GMS Families,
This past week, we had the great opportunity to recognize many of our students for their hard work and achievements during our grade level awards ceremonies. Each night featured a packed auditorium and the chance to celebrate our students and the great work that they have accomplished with their teachers this school year. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate our students and our school. We appreciate your support. Please continue to encourage your child to do their best on state testing this week and to remain focused on finishing the year strong.
Have a great week!
Jacob Nelson

Today and every day, we are grateful for our school nurses! They take such great care of our students and staff no matter what the situation. Please help me thank Nurse Butts and Nurse Ellison for all they do!

All of the Easley High and GMS Orchestra students all earned Superior with Distinction or Superior ratings! Two of our GMS students earned Superior with Distinction, which means a perfect score!
