Dear Stillson Elementary Families,

As we approach the end of summer, I’d like to welcome you to the start of the 2024-25 school year! I truly can’t believe how quickly these past few months have flown by. I hope you were able to find some time to relax and enjoy all that our community has to offer in the summertime!

As we begin this new school year, I would like to invite you and your child(ren) to visit Stillson on Tuesday, September 3 from 3:00pm-7:00pm for our Back to School Open House. This is an opportunity to meet your child(ren)’s teacher, drop off supplies, and take a look around the classroom. There will also be representatives from RCU, Cardinal Care, On-Site Chiropractor and our PTO. PTO will provide information on upcoming events, clothing sales, and volunteer opportunities.

Again, I am excited to kick off this school year and am looking forward to working with you all!

In your back to school packet, there was a typo for the first day of school for 1-5 grade. The first day of school is Wednesday, September 4 for 1-5 grade.

Mailers were sent out last week. If Infinite Campus is not updated with second household information, there is a chance that a packet was only sent to the primary household. If your family would like to be opted in for a double mailer, including second household, please let Ms. Prince know at princemn@chipfalls.org.

• September 3 : Open house at Stillson (3:00-7:00p)
• September 3 : School pictures during open house (3:00-7:00p)

• September 4: Grades 1-5 begin school

• September 4: Only kindergarten students with last names starting in A-L attend
• September 5: Only kindergarten students with the last names starting in M-Z attend
• September 6: All students attend

Last Name A-L will attend on Wednesday, September 4

Last Name M-Z will attend on Thursday, September 5

All Kindergarteners will attend on Friday, September 6

We ask that all students be photographed to be included in our yearbook.

Strawbridge Studios will be taking Fall Photos on September 3rd. At this time, purchasing photos can be done via paper form available at open house or via the website at Strawbridge.net.

You can order from now until 9/8 for free shipping.

After 9/8, orders will incur a $7 shipping fee and you will need to wait for your student's personalized code.

If you would like to volunteer to help out in the classroom or go on any field trips, you must fill out the proper online form. Please click HERE to be taken to our Volunteer Information webpage. Please note that once the online form is submitted, it could take up to 2 weeks to fully process so please please allow ample time before you volunteer for the first time. The link is always open so feel free to fill it out at your earliest convenience.

The district adopted a new volunteer management system last spring so many parents are already on file and approved to volunteer for the 2024-25 school year. That approval is good for 1 year so for those parents that are already in the new system, you will get an email 30 days prior to its expiration date, reminding you to reapply. The email will come from RAPTOR TECHNOLOGIES and will go to the email address that they have on file for you.
