Performance Video Links
Recordings of all performances this school year can be found on Canvas. You are more than welcome to share the links with family and friends. However, please do not post any of it online or on social media due to copyright laws. Also, you'll need to get to these links before May 30th because central office will shut down Canvas Access over the summer to update for next year. Thank you!

Here's Tutorial #2
This video finishes how to get to Canvas on an iPad. But towards the end, I go through how to get there from a computer or phone.
May 8th & May 9th 1st-3rd Classes
We did stations in music class to learn about science and music! I was out last week due to a kidney stone so only a few classes got to experience these stations. I hope to do it again next year. Here were the classes that got to learn about Conductors, Synesthesia, & Sound Waves:
Miller, Yarborough, Savin, Silva, Bullock, Galliher, Hemmings, & Povinelli
Makey Makey
Students completed a circuit so that when they touched the fruit, it would play a piano on a computer.
Thongaphones
Students got to play 2 special PVC pipe instruments to learn how length of the PVC pipe determines if a note is high or low.
Specdrums
The students played specdrums and learned how some people see colors when they hear music which is an ability called synesthesia.
4th Graders
4th Graders Research Projects
All 4th graders have been working on their research projects since March. Their final project is due next week. They will display their project during their music class so that their classmates can walk around the room and look, read, or play their projects. Excited to see how they turn out.
Dance Week for Music & PE
Mr. G and I collaborated and put all of our K-3rd grade classes together to dance! They'll be learning the Cha Cha Slide, Electric Slide, Cupid Shuffle, Caballo Dorado, Little Apple, and many more! We also showed them this music video and Mrs. K taught part of the choreography to 2nd & 3rd graders.
