Dear Families,

Save the Date for the school's Main Event on Saturday, February 22!

Get ready for an evening of fun, entertainment, and community spirit as we gear up for the St. Patrick Catholic School's Main Event, set to take place at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cedar Falls on Saturday, February 22. This spectacular event once again promises a night to remember with the talented band Not Quite Brothers providing live entertainment.

Mark your calendars, secure your tickets, and get ready to join us for an evening of excitement, entertainment, and community fellowship at the St. Patrick School's Main Event on Saturday, February 22, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cedar Falls. One of the highlights of the evening will undoubtedly be the live and silent auctions, where attendees can bid on an array of exciting items, and the raffle prizes offering fantastic rewards. Adding to the excitement, the committee has planned a variety of engaging events and games to keep everyone entertained throughout the gathering. A special feature of the night is the mystery box filled with hidden treasures—raffle tickets will be available for purchase, giving you a chance to uncover and win these surprises!

For all the wine enthusiasts, be sure to check out the wine pull, where you could uncover a hidden gem from a selection of wines. The committee is in need of 50 bottles of wine to make the wine pull a success. Any donations of wine can be dropped off at the school office, during regular business hours. All varieties of wine are accepted and welcomed! Thank you in advance for your donation.

To make this event a success, we are calling for volunteers to lend a helping hand. If you want to be part of something special, sign up to be a volunteer and contribute to the success of the School's Main Event. Your time and dedication will make a significant impact.

We also encourage everyone to spread the word and bring friends, family, and colleagues to attend this fantastic evening. Your presence will not only make the event more enjoyable but will also contribute to the overall success of the fundraising initiatives that support our school's programs. We will be using funds to help purchase a new math curriculum

Upcoming Open Houses - Jan 19th & 26th

Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 19th to attend our Open House at Clover Patch Preschool. The building will be available to tour from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. The following Sunday, January 26th, St. Patrick Catholic School will host an Open House from 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. This is a great time for families to come and see all the great things we have to offer at both of our buildings!

We're Hiring!

Are you, or someone you know, on the hunt for something to do while the kiddos are off learning? We're on the lookout for a kindergarten associate to join the fun from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with Wednesday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Not sure if you can commit to the full school day? We are also open to considering an associate to work from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Get ready to team up with amazing little learners and a super supportive squad!

The Annual Appeal 💚

St. Patrick Catholic School's Annual Appeal is underway. Letters have been sent to families, and we have already begun to receive donations. There are many opportunities for you to help with this appeal by sharing your time, talents or prayers. Thank you to those who have already made a donation or committed to help in some way.

National School Lunch and Breakfast Program

St. Patrick School operates under the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program. Visit the Nutrition Page on our website if you feel you may qualify for free or reduced meals.

New: Front Entrance Door Security

There is a new security feature in place to enter the school office. Parents/visitors will need to press the button on the silver box next to the exterior entrance door on Washington Street before entering the building. Watch for the green light on the small black box below it to indicate the door is unlocked.

All exterior doors in the building remain locked during school hours, and all visitors are asked to enter through the main school office.

⛄ Sign Up for School Related Weather Alerts

As we have entered our winter season, it is important for all families to sign up with Remind to be informed of unexpected changes in the school schedule due to weather, or other important announcements. In addition to using Remind, we also send out an email from the school, and post the information on our social media pages and will also be listed on KWWL.

Our weather policy is posted as “Weather Announcements” under the Quick Links on the home page of the school website.

Through the Remind alert notification system, parents can sign up for text alerts, push notifications (when you download the Remind app), or emails.

If you are new to St Patrick School, or have not signed up in the past, text @cd4he to 81010. If you're having trouble with 81010, text @cd4he to (619) 450-1267. For emails only, go to rmd.at/cd4he on a computer to sign up for email notifications. You do not need to sign up again if you've signed up before.

*A test alert went out on Wednesday, Oct. 23. If you signed up and did not receive the alert, please check your Remind account, or contact the office.

Scrip cards and certificates are great for gifts and everyday use. Visit our website to find out about our Scrip program. Place your order through your Raise Right account, email scrip@cfcatholicschool.org, or print a paper form.
