We are thrilled to announce one of our most exciting events of the year — our Parade of Nations will take place on Friday, April 11th at 8:00 AM in the school gym, and we want your student to be a part of it!

This vibrant celebration kicks off our annual Multicultural Festival and is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their cultural pride and heritage as they walk the red carpet in traditional clothing, wave a flag, and/or carry a sign representing their country. It's a powerful way to honor the rich diversity of our school community — and we can’t do it without you!

📸 Families are warmly invited to attend and cheer on our students as they parade through the gym — it’s a joyful and inspiring sight you won’t want to miss!

Students will be issued a personalized passport to take with them on their Tour of Nations hosted in the gym. During their regularly schedule Encore times, students will explore tables hosted by Washington families and members of the International Culture Team from the University of Arkansas. These tables will be filled with cultural artifacts, photos, etc. for students to investigate. Upon visiting a table, they will get their passport stamped and their horizons broadened!

We will have even more countries for you to explore and appreciate during the evening event. In addition to tables full of visual delights, you'll also enjoy an impressive lineup of dance performances! We will have food trucks on-site offering food for purchase.
