Other noteworthy items:

*Third and fourth grades will have an ATLAS science interim on Wednesday morning. These interims are providing our teachers and students with valuable information before the important ATLAS summative at the end of the year. You can access the results through the parent ATLAS portal.

*Kindergarten will be having a Thanksgiving program for their families on Thursday at 9 in the gym. The cuteness overload will be aplenty!

*Our November birthdays celebration will be on Friday.

Our Fall Break is upon us--our students will be out of school for a week, beginning on Monday, November 25. We will see everyone back on Monday, December 2 for the three weeks before Christmas.

Dear Magness Creek Families,

Welcome to our PTO! With the holiday season approaching, we’re entering one of our busiest and most exciting times of the year, full of chances to support our school community. We’re determined to make this our best Christmas season yet, and we invite you to join us in spreading joy and making memories!

We’re thrilled to announce the return of the beloved Jingle Bell Shop! To make it as successful as last year, we’ll need helping hands for decorating, setting up shop, and assisting our kiddos as they select gifts for their families, friends, and teachers. This is always such a magical experience for the children, and we’re so grateful for volunteers who make it happen.

In addition, we’ll be decking the halls the last weekend of November to transform the school for the holiday season. When students return in December, they’ll be greeted by festive decorations, filling the halls with holiday cheer.

But wait, there’s more! Our activity teachers are once again coordinating Rockin’ Around The Creek, where all our students will perform in a holiday celebration. As part of this event, we’ll also have ornament painting from Fired Up—another great way for families to make memories together.

Thank you for being part of our PTO and for considering lending a hand to make this season unforgettable for our students. We’re so grateful for the support of our amazing volunteers!

In order to volunteer at Magness Creek, you will need to complete a background check every year and have Hallway Hero training once in your lifetime. Please call the office at (501)743-3565 or email your Hallway Hero interest to amy.morrow@cps.k12.ar.us or michelle.atherton@cps.k12.ar.us. We want the Hallway Hero piece to be easy and convenient for our families.
