April Parent Newsletter
Happy April!
Hello Cardinal Families,
Spring is here! The warm weather and sunshine are definitely what our students needed.
The end of the year is NEAR! We have a lot going on this month. Please take note of some of the cool things we'd like for you and your family to attend. These are all noted on the Important Dates to Remember below.
Our final round of Student Led Conferences will be the last week of the month. They're staggered to help with parking and crowds. Students are getting ready to show you what they know, how they've grown, and where they're going. We're so proud of their hard work and dedication.
Enjoy your Easter break! I hope you can spend time with your family and loved ones. Be safe!
This newsletter will be published monthly by CGES principal, Leslie Sechler. She apologizes as grammar or spelling errors may occur. Please read over the updates and important information. She will also share a calendar of events to keep you up to date with all the Cardinal happenings. Feel free to call the school (704)857-7708 or email Mrs. Sechler at sechlerlw@rss.k12.nc.us if you have any questions or concerns.
2023-2024 Teacher of the Year!
Mrs. Stirewalt is new to CGES this year, but she is a ROCK STAR! She is passionate about her students and makes learning fun. She is always in the hallway where she's smiling and excited to see our Cardinals. She has experience as an A+ teacher, so she fits right in when it comes to integrating art into her teaching.
Congratulations, Mrs. Stirewalt! We're honored to have you represent CGES!
