The News
It was a great week at PCHS! Several students were rewarded free break for answer a riddle to celebrate National Puzzle Day and students were able to purchase $1 hot chocolate for National Hot Chocolate Day.
There were a lot of great activities going on in all of our classes as we prepare for spring testing. We are proud of all of our teachers and students for the hard work they are putting in each day in class.
We are hosting a Blood Drive on campus on Wednesday, Feb. 5. If anyone in the community or school would like to donate blood this your chance to do so. Also, we will host FAFSA Night on Thursday, Feb. 6 from 3pm to 6pm for Seniors and their parents.
Basketball- Our basketball teams opened the week with wins in their last regular season games at Tharptown and closed out the week in the area tournament at Mars Hill. Our varsity girls advanced to the area finals with a dominating win over Sheffield. They will play in the finals on Tuesday vs. Mars Hill at 6pm. They will also play in the subregion on Friday (time and location to be determined). Our varsity boys season came to an end on a heartbreaking overtime loss to Sheffield.
Have A Great Week!
