For the safety of all our students, please pick your student(s) up promptly at 3:00pm. We have noticed some safety concerns with children playing unsupervised after school. (Children running in parking lot, kicking balls at windows, climbing bricks, etc.) If you would like to play on the playground or another area please provide adult supervision. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Small groups starting! Please let me know if you would like your child to participate and I can send you more information. They will meet for approximately 30 min during the school day once a week:

1. Worry Warriors-Does your child have extra worries that they are carrying around? This group will focus on how to challenge and overcome worry thoughts and feelings.

2. Family Change-Has your family been through some changes? Whether it be separation, divorce, move, or loss this group will focus on supporting students through change and building resiliency.

Hopefully you have seen the "Bullying Hurts Everyone" booklets that were donated to us for every student. This supported our focus last month of "No Bullies Allowed". We also reviewed the definition of bullying in class lessons and learned how to be an UPSTANDER! If your student talks about the booklet with you and it is signed by an adult and brought back to school they will get a special treat!

This month we are focusing on "Love Your Passengers" from the Energy Bus and expressing gratitude for others.
