π£ Families! Here's What's Happening This Week:
Today our students and staff participated in an ALICE Evacuation drill in cooperation with our Raynham Police Department. ALICE is an acronym for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter and Evacuate - and is the model we use in the BRRSD to respond to an intruder, emergency or threat. The first choice is always to EVACUATE. For this drill, however, we practiced remaining in the classroom for the "lockdown" aspect of the ALICE response protocol. The drill went very well and our staff and students are to be commended for their prompt and appropriate response during the drill. All LaLiberte students were able to join in the Bookmark Challenge with Mrs. Gazzara. 3 designs were chosen at each grade level and will be printed for use during the school year in the library. The winning artists were:

Holiday Pajama Party: We are trying something new this year and will be having a pajama party
with holiday festivities. Each grade will come on their assigned days and enjoy crafts, games, music and holiday movies! Grade 3 will come Tuesday, December 17th, Grade 4 Wednesday December 18th and Grade 2 Thursday December 19th. Pajamas are to be worn on the assigned day only!
