TK & Kindergarten Field Day will also occur the same morning, but in different locations; and these field days will be organized by your children's teachers.
- EARLY DISMISSAL on the last day of school, Thursday, June 12. Please make arrangements to pick up your children from school accordingly: TK & Kindergarten at 12:15pm and Grades 1st-5th at 12:30pm.
- ELOP ends on Wednesday, June 11; therefore, ELOP will not be available on the last day of school.
- Child Care will be available on the last day of school, June 12, for students who are currently registered.
- 2025-26 Classroom Assignments: As we enter our final week of school, I want to share that the teachers and I have been working on creating classes for next school year. While we value your input, teacher requests are not a top priority when creating class assignments. Our primary focus is on balancing class sizes, meeting students’ academic and social needs, and ensuring a positive learning environment for all. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Wishing you all a restorative summer vacation!
Warmly,
Paola Vargas
Principal
Gooooooo Eagles!
Friendly Reminders...
- Lost & Found - We have had to donate numerous 65 gallon trash bags packed full of unclaimed Lost & Found clothing items (primarily jackets, hoodies, and sweatshirts) this year. Please check our Lost & Found for your child's garments. Also, we strongly suggest you label your child's outer garments with (at least) their last name to better assist in returning these items to their owners in the future.
- Thousand Oaks Library Summer Reading Program: Just because school will be out for summer, doesn't mean the books will on summer break too. Head over to the Thousand Oaks Library and join the Summer Reading Club that starts June 16th through August 3rd. You log your progress each week and get a special prize from the library. Registration starts June 1st. Click HERE for the link.
- VERY IMPORTANT: If you know that your child will not be returning to Weathersfield for the 2025-2026 school year, please alert our office manager, Jacquie Wright, at your earliest opportunity. Notification via email is preferred to jwright@conejousd.org.
Weathersfield Senior Walk: Monday, June 9th, at 1:00pm
5th Grade Culmination
- First-Come/First-Served Culmination Seating: 5th Grade Culmination is Wednesday, June 11, at 9:00am. Seating is first-come, first-serve starting at 8:30am. Attendees will need to line up by the gate at the far end of the MPR (nearest Pembridge Street). No one will be allowed to reserve seats before 8:30am.
- Please make sure your 5th grade students are present at school for their Culmination practices from 8:45 - 11:00am on the following school days: June 5, 6, 9 and 10.
- Early Dismissal for 5th Grade on June : Parents, on June 11, we encourage you to check your 5th grade students out of school following their Culmination ceremony. There is no classroom instruction or any activities planned for your 5th grade student following the Culmination ceremony. For your convenience, student sign-out sheets will be available at the exit gate # 3.
- Parents, will the younger siblings of your 5th grade students be attending the Culmination Ceremony? If so, please take note of the process you will need to follow to check your students out of class:
- A student sign-out table will be set up outside of the Front Office starting at 8:00am.
- You will sign your student out of school on the Sign-Out sheet with a departure time of 8:30am.
- Your student should proceed to their classroom.
- YOU will be provided with a SIBLING CULMINATION PASS. Please hold on to this pass and take your place in the Culmination entry line outside of Gate #6 (near lunch tables).
- Culmination Entry Gate #6 will open at 8:30am. Culmination seats may not be reserved prior to 8:30am.
- Once you have entered campus, you may pick-up your younger student from their classrooms (please do so BEFORE 8:55am). YOU MUST provide your student’s teacher with the SIBLING CULMINATION PASS in order for your child to be released from their classroom.
- If your younger student will be returning to class after Culmination, you will need to sign them back in to school. For your convenience, the student sign-out sheets will be located on a table placed outside of Gate #3 (where everyone will exit). If you do not intend to check your younger children back in to school, then you may simply depart campus with them.
