PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
This year's spelling bee will be different from year's past. It will occur after school and it will be 5th and 6th grade combined. Teachers have already given their qualifier and students who wish to participate will compete on Wednesday, January 22nd! Those who wish to watch the spelling bee should plan to arrive between 3:30-3:45. Please park behind No. 1 Chinese due to limited parking during dismissal.
It has been brought to my attention that we have students being dropped off in the middle of Lyman St. Please be sure to utilize our car rider loop in the front of the school (Main St.) to drop off your son or daughter. If you have students walking to/from school, please remind them to utilize crosswalks and wait for the signal to cross. We've had students who don't pay attention and cross where ever and whenever they want. Our goal is to make sure our students are safe during arrival and dismissal. Thank you for your understanding.
Students who wish to participate in the Lip Sync Battle need to sign up over the next two weeks. This has been an incredible event for our students! Students may need help editing their audio clips. Please do not wait until the last day to sign up. Thank you to our PTO for organizing this award-winning opportunity!
Have a GREAT Week!
Brandon Cobb, Principal
