MESSAGE FROM HEADTEACHER
A couple of weeks ago our Year 13 pupils marked the culmination of a seven-year journey here at St James’, by celebrating the end of exams at their prom. A wonderful event enjoyed by a beautiful group of young people who we all have supported in getting to this point.
I hope you enjoy reviewing this event and the many other exciting activities and opportunities our young people have immersed themselves in over the month of June.
Good bless

Our work with external agencies
As a school, we collaborate with several external agencies and greatly appreciate their valuable contributions to our work. This includes mental health services, Safer Schools Police, and Early Help Services. The support provided varies from 1:1 sessions, group workshops, assemblies, and support/advice to parents/carers. Their input has been instrumental in enhancing our educational programmes and providing additional support to our pupils. We are grateful for their partnership and their positive impact on our school community.
“As I approach the end of my fourth year at St James I can say what a pleasure it’s been – and how excited I am at the prospect of a fifth! Over the years I’ve benefited from the warm, collegiate approach of the teachers. Together we’ve built a flourishing cadets group. And it’s in the cadets that I’ve got to know so many children and appreciate their energy and good manners. Thank you for making me feel a part of this vibrant, positive community.” (PC Saleerat - Safer Schools Police Officer)
“I really appreciate how efficient the school is in organising rooms and space for young people to be seen for their sessions. It makes me feel that their mental health needs are prioritised’’. (Tammy - Barnet Integrated Counselling Service)
