Dear Parents/Carers,
This week has been full of reflection for me. I have completed my first term as head of your wonderful school and I am very grateful for the opportunity to serve such a brilliant community.
The children have experienced discos and parties, crafts and movies this week. In the heart of all of these celebrations they have also remembered the true meaning of Christmas. Thank you to Rev Paulie and Karen at St. Mary’s for making us feel so welcome at church yesterday – it was a very special morning.
I would also like to thank all of our amazing staff team. The reason we were able to do this fun-filled week is because of them. They have embraced the changes/activities/parties etc and supported me in my crazy Christmas ideas. They go above and beyond every day and are genuinely good people – how lucky are we to have them?!
Wishing you a peaceful Christmas and happy and healthy New Year.
Now…does anyone know how to unblock a snow machine?!

Message from Head Pupils
We’ve had a very festive final week in school. On Monday both KS1 and KS2 enjoyed their Christmas disco. There were some killer dance moves on show. Tuesday was filled with Christmas crafts, the children made some fantastic wreaths, cards and tealight holders. We continued the party into Wednesday with lots of classes enjoying party games in the hall. It was so lovely to be joined by so many of the children’s special adults to hear us perform our carols on the playground yesterday, even if it was a little cold. Finally, today we enjoyed a festive film this afternoon. We hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Head pupil awards go to Fern (Y6) and Eva (Y3).
