We are excited to announce that our Student of the Month for March is Claire Sears!
Why Claire was chosen:

- She approaches every activity with a positive attitude and enthusiasm.
- She demonstrates responsibility by helping younger students and following program rules.
- She is always willing to try new things and encourages her peers to do their best!

Exciting Clubs Returning Soon! 🎹🥁
With warmer weather on the way, we’re excited to announce that Fishing Club for our 3rd – 5th grade students will resume next week! We can’t wait to see our young anglers back in action.
Additionally, Band Club will be starting back up in April, giving our little musicians a chance to continue honing their skills and making music together. Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to these start dates. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to these fun activities!
KidFit Mondays 🏋️
KidFit with Ms. Alicia will begin on April 14, 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.! 💪🏽✨
KidFit is a fun and engaging fitness program designed for all grade levels (Pre-K - 5th) to stay active, build teamwork, and develop strength. Activities will include:
✅ Physical Team Building 🤝
✅ Strength Courses 🏋️
✅ Pound Workouts 🥁🎶
✅ And More!
Your child will have the opportunity to stay active while having a blast with friends! Don’t miss out on this exciting addition to our program.

Did you know that we welcome students from ALL TCS/TCSS, private school, and homeschooling students? Parents of students enrolled in grades Pre-k - 5th can drop their child off at the Phelps Activity Center - Monday through Friday, 3PM - 6PM.

Registration/enrollment fees can be paid by clicking the CLICK TO REGISTER / ENROLL button below OR by calling the Phelps Activity Center at (205)562-3230 (Monday-Friday | 8AM-5PM) OR by visiting ANY PARA activity center. Please remember to enroll your child(ren) before 1:00 p.m. each day. Failure to enroll prior to school dismissal will result in a $3 late pay fee.

Last Year’s Easter EGGstravaganza was such a HUGE Hit—We're doing it again even BIGGER in 2025!
Join us for the 2nd Annual Easter EGGstravaganza at Mason’s Place Playground/Sokol Park South on April 19, 2025, from 9 AM - 12 PM!

PARAkids Summer Day Camp
PARA is proud to serve our community with top quality summer day camp programming.
June 2 through August 6, Monday – Friday | Hours: 7:00am – 5:30pm*
Available to students entering grades K-5 for the 2025-2026 School Year
Locations are:
-Belk (maximum 120)
-Faucett (maximum 120)
-Miller (maximum 120)
-Phelps (maximum 70)
-Tingle (maximum 50)
If a location does not have enough enrollment to start a camp, we may combine camp locations.
Fees
$30 Registration Fee-- Now Open! (Registration fee covers administrative costs and camp t-shirt.)
$100/week PARA All-Inclusive Members
$150/week non-members

NEW! Counselor-in-Training Program
Are you a parent of a student in grade 6-8 looking for a rewarding summer experience? Our Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program is the perfect opportunity to develop leadership skills, gain hands-on experience working with children, and make lasting memories at our Summer Day Camp!
Program Overview
Our CIT program is designed for enthusiastic, responsible students who are eager to learn about teamwork, childcare, and recreation in a fun, supportive environment. Under the guidance of experienced camp counselors and staff, CITs will:
✅ Assist with camp activities and games
✅ Learn leadership and teamwork skills
✅ Gain experience in child supervision and safety
✅ Receive mentorship from seasoned camp professionals
✅ Work towards earning priority consideration for future paid counselor positions
Program Details
📅 Duration: Full summer (6/2/25-8/1/25) or select weeks
📍 Location: Belk, Faucett, Miller, Phelps, Tingle locations
⌚Time: 7:00am - 5:30pm
🎯 Who Can Apply? Students entering grades 6-8 (2025-2026 school year)
📜 Graduation System: CITs who complete three summers in the program will be given priority consideration for paid counselor positions in future summers!
